Robust Power
The Cleveland, Ohio Collocation Data Center provides 20,000 square feet of anti-static,
19" raised floor. The raised floor area is supplied by Industrial class Uninterruptable
Power Systems [UPS] boasting 940 Kilovolt amperes (kVA) of power capacity, with
expansion capabilities up to 2.1 Megawatts.
The UPS systems are redundantly supplied by diversely distributed utility power
and backed up by a 2.1 Megawatt diesel generator. The diesel generator is supplied
by a fuel capacity of 6,800 gallons - one of the largest in the region.
In an emergency, BlueBridge customers enjoy an advantage over other data centers
due to a priority status conferred upon BlueBridge by refueling providers, as BlueBridge
supplies the regions 911 Emergency Services Response Center with emergency generator
power.

State-of-the-art Power Monitoring
BlueBridge's Cleveland, Ohio Collocation Data Center employs a state-of-the-art
proactive electronic monitoring system that will alert both BlueBridge personnel
and customers of changes in electrical load levels for every individual branch circuit.
This system also allows BlueBridge engineers to “model” changes to the electrical
infrastructure before actual changes are made, providing an invaluable tool that
detects and identifies problems prior to deployment of new systems to the environment.
Environmental Systems
Constant temperature and humidity control is maintained by 240 tons of HVAC cooling,
distributed via a pressurized downdraft system under 19” of raised floor.
Fire Protection
The Cleveland, Ohio Collocation Data Center is protected by a state-of-the-art laser
air sampling fire detection technology, backed by a pre-action, double interlocked
dry pipe fire protection system.
The laser air sampling system is capable of detecting particles of combustion as
low as 0.0015%/ft (0.005%/m), which is 2000 times more sensitive than conventional
smoke detectors.
The higher sensitivity of the detector allows it to detect low energy fires even
in high airflow environments, which tend to dilute smoke concentrations.
Security
BlueBridge Network's Cleveland, Ohio Collocation Data Center maintains a 'round
the clock onsite Network Operations Center (NOC) which monitors the security and
video systems 24x7x365, and provides access control for physical security. Physical
patrols of the data center occur on a regular basis around the clock.
Uniformed lobby security guards control access to the building entrances and elevators
after hours, on weekends, and holidays. There is no access to the 5th floor data
center off hours that is unescorted. An hourly patrol of the entire building occurs
from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday and 24 hours a day on weekends
and holidays.
The state-of-the-art DSX security system maintains access control to authorized
personnel via proximity card and key pad at all data center entrances. A violation
of the systems protocol automatically triggers an alarm that is monitored by two
redundant and geographically diverse monitoring centers. Video surveillance is applied
at every entrance and throughout the data center facility. Recorded archives are
maintained for a minimum of 90 days.
Physical Construction
The Cleveland, Ohio Collocation Data Center perimeter is constructed with two physical
layers of concrete reinforced material. There are two physical layers of doors to
the data center consisting of heavy gauge steel security grade construction.
Telecommunications
Fiber and telecommunications connectivity is diversely routed via separate physical
building entrances, and diverse conduit paths into the Cleveland data center itself.
All of the major global carriers with large regional network footprints are fiber
terminated directly inside of the BlueBridge Data Center.
All network services are distributed via an overhead multi-tier ladder rack system.
